Phil Tyson PhD, Psychotherapist

Policies and Procedures

Publishing Principles

I have a history of working with men, but have moved more towards writing about the following topics:

Chronic mental health psychotherapy, trauma psychotherapy, the psychological pressures of business and professional life, and the ‘meaning’ and ‘meta’ crises and the psychological implications of global instability.

My writing draws upon my academic training as a Chartered Psychologist and sociologist and my training and experience as a psychotherapist, and my reading which ranges from western esotericism to politics and philosophy to scientific developments and Buddhism to neuropsychology.

I try to balance information with reasonable opinion and conjecture, and my writing should never be mistaken for academic scholarship.

I write primarily for my client base who tend to be entrepreneurs, elite professionals, and the young adult children of entrepreneurs and elite professionals.

I write to generate awareness of my skills as a psychotherapist and the issues my clients face.
